Botswana and Victoria Falls
07th October 2010
Botswana did not disappoint; we were fortunate enough to have a lovely sighting of a leopard. It was obvious that this was a mother with cubs somewhere close by, but she wasn't bringing them out!
Elephants abound in Botswana and at Chobe National Park we had the pleasure of being surrounded by herds of these gentle giants as they met along the river bank for a bit of polite elephant conversation.
Despite being low on water Victoria Falls was still a magnificent sight, especially as we flew over it from the Zambian side and along its length which really gave us an idea as to how much water must pass through when in full flow.
